We remain 4th behind Dowling, Valley and Okoboji in the district rankings and 6th overall in state rankings also trailing Iowa City West and Indianola. But we keep closing the gap!
Individual ranks: State top speakers....Billy #1, Olivia #3 and a big move up for Chris Oman at #12. He should break the top 10 in mid January. Amelia is 26th in the district--she is actually slightly ahead of the pace set by Sam and Billy in pts at the same time in their careers. Spencer Sheaff is #2 in the State and I don't think Olivia can catch him now unless Spencer fails to go to Nationals and Olivia does go.
Looking ahead to next year...Chris could be #1 in the State and Amelia certainly could be #2 if they stay at their present pace.
Billy remains #15 in the country in total points.
