For Glenbrooks next weekend, we are taking a charter bus leaving from the front of Roosevelt immediately after school Friday, and staying at the Embassy Suites Deerfield. The address for this hotel is 1445 Lake Cook Rd, Deerfield, IL 60015, phone number 847-945-4500. Competition will take place at Glenbrooks North/South High Schools, and we'll return Sunday once everyone is done competing. The cost for this tournament is approximately $250. This is the most expensive tournament on our full-team schedule aside from Nationals.
Additionally, we are planning another meeting for parents to discuss concessions for the Dowling Paradigm in December--I'd like to have this meeting on November 15, at 5:30 in the library. This is a MUCH bigger tournament than Tournavelt was, so we'll need all hands on deck! We have to cover concessions in multiple buildings, so this will be quite the endeavor. Please try to make it to the meeting or contact me otherwise if you cannot be there!
Finally, postings for tournament costs to Infinite Campus accounts are posted for tournaments through this past weekend. It is critical that these get paid for/a plan is crafted for the payment of these costs! We have a very expensive travel schedule, and to ensure that the district continues to allow us to do this, it is prudent that fees are paid in a timely and/or consistent manner. If we don't balance our fees and expenses by the end of the school year, it affects our budget for the following year. Thank you!!
