First, Apple Valley. We are leaving Friday morning @ 11AM, in front of Roosevelt. We're taking a bus with 16 kids, 6 Public Forum teams and 4 Congress kids. This is awesome! It's one of my favorite tournaments, and I'm stoked to be able to take so many kids! A cost of $125 will be posted to the relevant students accounts, and we'll be staying at the Hampton Inn Burnsville (14400 Nicollet Court Burnsville, MN 55306, phone number 952-435-6366). The bus will be returning Saturday evening at around 5PM depending on how late we have kids in the tournament, returning to Roosevelt at around 9PM.
We're also taking 3 Policy teams up to Michigan this weekend--we're leaving from the front of Roosevelt at approximately 3PM tomorrow and staying at the Townplace Suites by Marriott Detroit Dearborn (6141 Mercury Dr, Dearborn, MI 48126, phone number 313-271-0200). We'll be returning from Michigan sometime Sunday, again depending on how late in the tournament we're still competing. Chase and/or the kids attending will contact you with the specific information about when to be picked up, but we'll be dropping them off at Roosevelt sometime Sunday night. The cost for this tournament has already been posted to the Infinite Campus accounts for the kids, and it was ~$261.
Finally, we're also sending a few kids over to East High School for their local tournament! Anne Wilborn will be chaperoning this. Speech kids will need to be at East by 3:30-3:45ish Friday night, and Congress kids will need to be at East by 8AM Saturday.
