The final cost per student is 218.04 plus the student's entry fee. As always, cost should not keep a student from traveling to a tournament - please talk to Mrs. McCool if you are concerned about paying this fee.
Our departure schedule isn't finalized yet - I have to make sure it works with the other schools who are traveling with us - but it will be confirmed on Tuesday at practice. For now- plan on being excused after the second block of the day.
We'll stay at our usual hotel - The Heartland Inn in Coralville.
Please don't forget that students will need money for meals on Thursday evening, Friday Lunch and dinner, as well as Saturday Lunch and Dinner (the hotel has a pretty good free breakfast).
This tournament is at the University of Iowa and not run by any school so we can bring snacks and other food for the students. I have already purchased bottled water, assorted cookie packs, Goldfish Crackers, granola/protein bars, and pretzels - if you'd like to donate easy-to-travel snacks please feel free to do so!
