CELEBRATE!

Wow! What a wonderful weekend!

First, thanks to all the parents and students that volunteered (under great pressure- ha!) to work the TRHS location of the Dowling Tournament.

Second, thanks to coaches Chase McCool and Katie Minks who held down the fort at the locations where students were debating. And thanks to alum Max Pilcher for judging Novice CX.

Finally, CONGRATS to all of our speakers and debaters! I am so proud of all the hard work you did this week and during the tournament this weekend. 

Special congratulations goes to the following award winners:

• Emma Weddle for reaching Sems in Varsity LD - she earned her second bid and is headed to the TOC
• Jacob Thompson for winning Extemporaneous Speaking - he earned his second bid and he is headed to the TOC
• Danny Drane for getting to finals in Spontaneous and getting Third in Extemporaneous Speaking - he earned his second bid and he is headed to the TOC. 
• Elena Hildebrandt and Jenna Pokorny for winning Varsity PF (they were undefeated!) - they (too!) have now earned their second bid and they (too!) are headed to the TOC.

I am so thankful to all of you for all you do for our team-- lets sweep Lincoln and Blake next weekend!
