As you know Lily, Murphy, Marlee and I are already here in Omaha for the Public forum Invitational at the University of Nebraska-Omaha tomorrow.
The rest of you making the trip are as follows: Departure at 3pm from North Parking Lot at Roosevelt. At this point in time, i would expect that there will be school and the trip to Omaha. However, in the event school is cancelled, we have activities permission to make our own decision. The expectation is that you are making the trip unless you get a message from me indicating otherwise. We are making the travel call because the expectation is that even if it is bad in the morning-conditions are to improve during the day to the point that travel should be safe.
Drivers: Bernie Burke with a rented Ford Expidition and Travis Thompson in his vehicle. We will use every seat so pack light.
Hotel: Marriott-Omaha at 10600 Regency Circle in Omaha
Tournament: Millard North High School, Omaha
Return trip: Saturday night...hopefully at an acceptable hour. We likely release those eliminated after awards to get them back by about 9pm. Those in late rounds-we stay till we are finished. It will depend on how many and who can be released after awards what we are doing. Expect a call from your student as we leave Omaha to make arrangements for pickup.
