Eagan plans

Currently our departure time is set for right after the third block of Friday arriving in Minneapolis around five pm.  That should keep us ahead of the storm.  We have made arrangements to spend the night with Eagan, MN debate families if need be for Saturday night if the storm is worse than expected.  Thus, we may be calling and saying we have a problem.  But we will make every reasonable effort to get back Saturday night without jeopardizing safety.

We are competing in the Eagan Wildcat Tournament for both fun and points.  Our hotel is our usual Minneapolis haunt.  it is only a couple of miles to the high school from there.

Current plans are for a five pm departure Saturday night returning Des Moines about nine thirty.  We will adjust that if we need to. 

 

The forecast up there is sleet after we arrive into Saturday am then rain then a slow change to snow and colder.  Snow accumulation is only one to two inches at this point.  AT THIS WRITING WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IN AND OUT SAFELY.

 

We have rented a four wheel drive expidition for the trip.
