We had a great night last night at our Roosevelt novice night. I want to single out a couple of kids:
Danny Drane ended up maverick...lost his first round and then figured it out going 2-1.
Marlee Rutledge and Andy Anderson went 3-0 on the 2nd hardest opponent draw in the field.
Jack Chasse and Kiah Kitchen were 2-1 on the toughest schedule in the field.
And we should also note that Anna Barcus who had never seen a LD round was 0-3 BUT not the disaster she might have thought it was. One would expect 0-3 to be the worst speaker in the field but she was 6th-very, very encouraging!
Thanks to the parents who worked the concessions, to Coach Nate for tabbing and to all our kids who judged!
