Odd that the coaches have not heard from the cow owners regarding the brand issue. It appears the coaches are correct and that the cows were branded with their home country prior to acquisition. We are hoping the CHINA brand has not been removed from the cows by the owners because that would be illegal under Iowa laws which require either an ear tag or brand mark on all cattle. Please provide proof of branding immediately or something BAD will happen in the near future. Remember, you are dealing with the Maddened Cow Society whose membership includes far more than just debate coaches. Coaches are not in full control of it's diverse membership (which, for the record, includes teachers, debate team members, and other DMPS related personnel). We are attempting to manage this process for the safety of all concerned but cannot be held responsible for actions that might occur from individuals within our membership.
This is your last warning!!! Tick Tock--time is passing by. If you would like to immediately settle this matter, the Madden Cow Society will accept your cows for inspection of branding before school on Thursday am. Simply email a coach with where and when.
