What a fine showing by Roosevelt this past weekend...two championships: Catherine in EX and Kayleigh/Nathan in PF. And in the PF pool we have 4 of the top 9 teams. Nick Gerleman and Juliana Courard Hauri did very well in their respective LD pools. So a great job by all.
Debaters: We aren't listening enough! That applies to be LD and PF. You can't win if you don't understand or process what your opponent says. I heard one of Nick's debates by the door and thewn twice listened to parts of PF debates by the door on Saturday. Clearly we are talking before processing in some cases.
Please take that extra second or two to process before firing back...you will be rewarded for your effort!
