National Qualifier Results ofr Congress

Roosevelt easily had its best showing in Congress qualifier since Nate and I have been with the program. 5 students attempted to qualify and all did brilliant jobs. In Senate, Nick is first alternate losing out to Heelan and Spencer. Adele Crane just missed the short list to be voted on by the kids. In House, Katy Roat TIED Zoe Russell but lost both tie breakers to become the first alternate. In the other House Tess Yocom was 3rd alternate. Amelia Martin is second alternate which doesn't matter in her case because she choose to go in extemp. Amelia was the house PO all day in her house and did very well in her first attempt. Everyone was well prepared and fought hard and we had a great trip! Despite the snow!
