International Forensic Results

Two former Roosevelt debaters competed against each other at the IFA tournament in Berlin. Sam Fairfield's Grinnell College team finished 6th in Parli Debate and Billy Strong's George Mason team finished 5th. Both had chances of winning the tournament. Billy and his partner won it the year before. Sam only competed in parli while Billy finished in finals of all but one of his 5 events. Mason was the winning school for the 2nd year in a row. Next year's expected location is Budapest! And yes, Grinnell and Mason paid virtually all of the expenses to compete overseas.
