All students should have received a call from Mirza or Amelia about working shifts at Roosevelt for the Dowling Tournament. Debaters will be excused from school after 6th period regardless of whether they are at Central or Roosevelt. Debaters are to report directly to the debate room for assignments as they get there. We need:
room signs(Nate has list...it will be emailed to TRHS Extemp)
food brought in
kids to direct trafffic
ballot table set up(Harrison and Michael are to do this)
assignments to direct traffic inside the building for students to get to rounds(ballot runners)
check the handicap entrance to TRHS
The blue and white Roosevelt shirts should be worn by all TRHS debates who are working the tournament. We will need all of this to be handled efficiently and quickly starting after 6th period. Additional stuff may be added to this list.
Minh, Racheal and Catherine Chiodo are doing extemp at Callanan Friday and Saturday. As soon as you can, please report to Roosevelt to assist with the tournament work. And lots of luck from your debate counterparts is wished!
