HERE IS SPECIFIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT READ AND PRINT THIS INFORMATION AND KEEP IT HANDY DURING THE TOURNAMENT!!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT AS MUCH IS CHANGED FROM PAST YEARS. THERE IS NO CENTRAL TAB ROOM!!!!!
We start the 2009 All Iowa Finals TOMORROW!!!! Here’s some information to help clarify:
We’re going to be based out of the IMU again this year for speech.
Registration will be in room 351 (Michigan Room)
Pairings for speech will be outside of this room
Judges should report to 351 for ballot pick-up and drop-off.
Speech
Extemp draw will be in the Lucas-Dodge room (256) of the IMU.
Both Extemps and Oratory will perform in rooms in the IMU.
HI, DI, Duo and OI will perform in the EPB.
Students double entered in an interp event and OO or Extemp will have to walk from the IMU to the EPB, but it’s very easy.
LD
Friday—LD rounds will ALL be in the EPB. LD tab will also be in the EPB (312), so there will be no walking back and forth.
Saturday—LD rounds will be in MacLean Hall. LD tab will also be in MLH (105), so there will be no walking back and forth.
Policy will tab and be run entirely out of the IMU both days
PF
Friday—PF rounds will ALL be in the EPB. PF tab will also be in the EPB (312), so there will be no walking back and forth.
Saturday—PF rounds will be in Phillips Hall (PH). PF tab will also be in PH (205), so there will be no walking back and forth.
Congress
Friday—Congress chambers will be in the EPB. Congress tab will also be in the EPB (312), so there will be no walking back and forth.
Saturday—Congress chambers will be in MacLean Hall. Congress tab will also be in MLH (105), so there will be no walking back and forth.
Tab
Will be closed to prevent traffic and noise.

A list of teams in order for debate will be posted after rounds 2, 3, 4 and 5 (if possible).
Students advancing to the second day of speech competition will be posted ASAP in the lobby of the 3rd floor of the IMU.
Awards
Speech awards will be in the Pappajohn Business Building in room W10. This is up the hill from the IMU. Speech awards will happen at 2:30pm.
Debate awards will be in Phillips Hall 100. This is up the hill and across the street from the Pentacrest (place where the Old Capital Building is). Debate awards will happen around 5:30pm
