Important Times for This Weekend

CLOSING DOWN SHOP ON FRIDAY

On Friday, rounds will start to unwind and competitors will start to head out at about 10:30. I'll need some folks to venture the rooms with me and pick them up as soon as possible to get them presentable for the next day. Hopefully we can be out at 11:30 after all doors that we used are locked up.

REPORT TIMES FOR SATURDAY MORNING KIDS

I will be at TRHS on Saturday at 6 AM. Roosevelt Students should arrive no later than 7:15AM to get things up and running. The earlier you are here, the better the situation will be. Report to the cafeteria and call me to let me know you are at TRHS.

SATURDAY TRANSITION TIME!!

Starting at about 5:00 PM, we will have an influx of people coming to TRHS from several other buildings for awards. They ought to go to the cafeteria or auditorium. The last thing we need is to try to sort out people going to the baseketball game from people who are just hanging out in between rounds or lounging around waiting for awards to start. So building people need to be mindful that during the weekends, the skywalk doors are usually locked so there is no access to the athletic facilities from the main building. People need to go the locked doors of the north/south entrances to the building on the eastern section closest to the track.

During this time, whichever people are not helping sort the people coming from other buildings, helping at the concession stand and replenishing the judges lounge will be finishing up getting packets made for people, ballots copied, sorted and stuffed into envelopes for people to enjoy on their trips home.

CLOSING DOWN SHOP ON SATURDAY

At the end of Saturday (starting during the elimination rounds), I will NEED several people to walk the building with me to clean up rooms and get them back in working order for the teachers on Monday. This will continue through Sunday as well. This will hopefully be finished around 11:30pm on Saturday. Then it will be time to go to sleep and start over the next day.

STARTING THE DAY SUNDAY!! :)

I will be there at 7:00 AM to get things started on Sunday and reopen rooms and make sure all is well in the world at TRHS. Pairing will more than likley be released at around 8:30 if not the night before. Roosevelt kids should probably be there around 8:00 to get started doing some things that need done. This by far will be the lightest day of the tournament.

ENDING THE DAY SUNDAY

The final round of debate on Sunday is scheduled to go off at about 1:00 on Sunday and all the clean up and what not should be well underway in the various different areas of the building such as the judges lounge, concession areas, etc.
