This is very important so read carefully. Wed is an early out so I will be working from early out through about 5:30 that day with students.
This week Nate and I need to practice everyone who wants it prior to National Qualifier.
Quiet is important so the social room will be moved to another room. Please respect that room and not leave a mess, play with the computer, etc.
Those who wish to practice need to identify themselves upon arrival so some level of order can quickly be established. There is a lot at stake for some at National Qualifier. Please be respectfull of those who wish to work. If you have extemp filling to do, do it quietly as extemp students are working. I will be yelling at those who can't be under control when we need you under control.
This past week a group of mostly younger students did the older students a huge favor by earning 10 new degrees. That equated to 2 additional slots for Roosevelt at the qualifier which have been filled. Now we have to focus on those students who have the best opprotunities to be a national qualifier from our district.
The qualifier team will be on the blog and their events with the travel plans by late Monday, if not before.
One other things--if you are sick stay away from the debate room. Call me and let me know your status. But remember, you have to be on the bus regardless of your health! We must appear in our slots. Coach Harry
