Each student, who is not already qualified to attend nationals, may apply for a nomination to our district's Worlds Schools Team(s).
In order to begin this process each interested student must write a letter explaining why they would like to be part of the World Schools team and what such a nomination would mean to them.
Additionally, each student must secure a recommendation from a TRHS teammate. That teammate should discuss in their recommendation why they think the student wanting the nomination would be a good person to represent our team at the national level.
Neither letter has a minimum or maximum word count - each letter should simply be long enough to communicate clearly why the potential nominee should be nominated.
Both letters are due, in paper form, to Mrs. McCool the Monday we return from Spring break -- March 20.
Those letters will be reviewed and if needed, the selection process will continue. The next step is yet to be decided.
