Last night on the bus ride back to Des Moines from Iowa City, Coach Strong spent some time texting alums of the program with the news the Trifecta had finally been captured. In his text, Coach expressed his thanks to them for their legacy of hard work, positive examples and successes which lead this group of students to this weekend and the incredible moment of the team learning the Trifecta had been won. While this team had the honor of winning the Trifecta , the reality is it belongs to everyone attached to the program and everyone who has donated to the program in some fashion this season.
On behalf of the entire coaching staff, a special thanks to all the parents of current students for everything you have done this season that has allowed coaches to focus on coaching. All of the driving, judging, concessions, and far more paid off for the team this weekend. Without your support none of this would have been possible.
And we aren't done yet--great opportunities remain ahead for a very hard working group of students.
The only thing that will hold this group of students back will be the end of the season at NFL Nationals this June!
