This is the fourth weekend in a row of TOC bid tournaments in which Roosevelt has competed. That is very unusual as our normal opener is Valley's Mid America Cup this weekend (a bid tournament).
By this time in two weeks most of our students will have had two chances to compete and should be well on their way. If you are a novice parent and your student isn't competing at novice night next Tuesday in Ankeny or at Simpson College next weekend--lets talk about it and review where your son or daughter is in the activity. But most of our novices will have competed by two weeks from now.
Bids earned thus far: Luke in Congress (Yale); Lily in Extemp (Yale), Lily in Oratory (Wake Forest)
Hopefully we can get a couple of bids this weekend.
