Here is the plan: We have two drivers: Ken Wimber and Bill Nellans for Saturday am's trip to Carroll.
The tournament is at the DMACC campus in Carroll...906 North Grant Road in Carroll. The trip is one hour forty five minutes door to door without a stop. That puts you in at 8:15 or so....registration is 830am. We need to be there are at eight thirty.
The correct route is 235 west to 35 north to 141 (grimes exit) to 169 North to Ogden to 30 West to Carroll. It is an easy drive. But remember, it isn't four lane all the way.
There are two session morning and afternoon. Students must speak in both sessions and hopefully more than once--don't be waiting around to get a speech in...those judges can't preference you if they don't hear you.
It will be over around four thirty or so...five students will qualify. Hope someone from Roosevelt makes it!
