No doubt we had a HUGE Glenbrook's tournament. There are always a few who didn't break but having reviewed the results, I am super pleased with everyone's performances and efforts. We will grow from this experience. Notable achievements:
Nathan Leys tied for the championship in extemp and finished second on tie breakers
Lily Nellans 5th in Extemp
Katy Roat and Andy Troxell lost in Octos in Public Forum but beat Ankeny's top team for their first TOC bid.
Luke Theuma semi finaled in Congress and earned his first TOC bid n congress.
We also had the best Glenbrook's in our technical entries in a long long time...so congratulations to Julianna, Steph, Crystal and especially to Sam Gerleman who was 5-2 in VLD and faced a ridiculous strength of schedule.
