Those who left National Qualifier early on Saturday missed the biggest news of the day which came during dinner at nine at Applebee's: Billy Strong and Peri Baldwin announced their engagement! They have dated for over 4 years. Their intentions are not to marry until both have graduated.
Billy intends to return to the Midwest for law school a year from now. He will graduate a year early from George Mason. And yes, it is also true that Coach Nate lost the pool on Billy's engagement date! Keep in mind, Coach Harry also lost the pool on Billy's engagement as he failed to get the date correct. I guess it's safe to say we have a coaching staff of bad guessers. So students, you see we have pools on all sorts of "personal life" items of our students AND former students.
Don't forget Coach Nate has a wedding date in April!
