Alyssa Bean's home burned on Saturday afternoon and is a total loss. Alyssa is a sophomore who debates only local events. The family spent Saturday and Sunday night put up in a hotel by the Red Cross awaiting an insurance determination of cause, etc. I have asked Roosevelt administration to check on her today and determine her needs like clothing. If there are needs I will post them on the blog ASAP.
Her father, Matt Dobson, is a baseball coach at Roosevelt as well.
