We have a word document from RHS with the fnals schedule but it won't open with my computer for some reason. This much I know: Finals will not begin before the 19th with the weather problems. This means we have finals the week of our tournament and right after the State tournament next weekend.
We will post the schedule as soon as we can open the document. In the meantime:
There are NO EXCUSES for not being ready for finals, papers due or projects due. You have had a huge amount of extra time in which to study and complete projects. We have to have you in competition these next two weeks. I do not want to hear from your parents that you can't do both. You CAN study and prepare NOW. Do so!
The students with me in Nashville has been doing homework religiously in their spare time. Good for them! I hope you are doing the same this weekend with the extra time off. Parents, if your student isn't doing what needs to be done, kindly call one of the coaches to help get your student pointed the right direction.
The good news is that as a team, we enter finals in good shape academically. We have few students facing anything resembling an academic crisis. We just can't afford not to compete these next two weekends and expect to be ready for National Qualifier in mid-February!
