Yes we have some mice in the shop and Tech Ed rooms plus 141A. The mice are naturally coming indoors but the problem has been aggravated by the construction workers leaving doors open all the time. It will be a long two years with these rodents running around thanks to the construction. The school has exterminated our areas and mousetraps are being used. I put out 4 yesterday and one mouse has been captured and remanded to the dumpster.
As far as the rat stories that are circulating...the school is trying to find said animal (if it exists).
The construction crews are on the lookout down here for it and the custodial staff is searching likely areas where it could be hiding as well.
No doubt we will get larger animals are the winter approaches...perhaps a squirrel or raccoon or something like that. The doors are wide open and they might come in the building for the heat.
Everyone needs to be patient and report creatures to the coaching staff so we can deal with it. These problems come with the remodeling.
