Code of Conduct

Students Note!!!!

A new Code of Conduct for extra curricular activities begins July 1st or as soon as it can be implemented. The code is a 365 day deal. If you are found in violation of the code (the usual drinking, drugs, criminal acts, serious school discipline issues, etc) then you can be held out of competition by the AD and Principal EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE NOT IN SEASON!

This is the type of code of conduct at all Iowa 4A schools. Further, the schools can now legally use social networking sites as evidence of bullying, improper behaviour, etc. As I understand the code, they will not be "monitoring" social network sites but they can and will use information you have posted when it is pointed out to them! (Remember the social network PFD debates?)

As we get into the new school year, we will have to take the time to review the code at team meetings. In the meantime, just be aware that significant changes are coming.

We rarely have students with code of conduct problems, but it has happened. Use your heads!
