Chiodo replaces Oman at Nationals next week

Catherine Chiodo will be taking Chris Oman's slot at Nationals next week in Foreign Extemp. Oman resigned the slot Friday so it was, per rule, first offered to Minh Tam le (going to National History's Day competition in DC) and then Catherine. Catherine Chiodo followed Minh in the order of national qualifiers. Catherine can just fit it in before her India trip and has accepted the challenge! Chris resigned the slot to focus on his Varsity starting position in Roosevelt baseball now that he might have a chance of playing college ball at George Washington University. So the 3 Roosevelt students leaving late next week for Nationals are: Amelia Martin, Mirza Germovic and Catherine Chiodo.
