The plastic goats have been moved to a more security holding facility since in an email last evening the girls reference "Plan B" to spring them. There has been no further contact between the DGS and the girls. Thus frying is to take place Monday at 5pm. The location will be announced in advance. Pictures will be taken and posted so all know the plastic goat episode has been drawn to a close. Until execution the goats will be treated as well as possible. We are hopeful no more "forced" feedings will take place. They are being allowed two hours of sunlight to graze in each day. The goats have requested fresh grass for their last meal.
There is a slight glimmer of hope for the goats in that a member of the DGS has received a proposed solution to the crisis from a responsible 3rd party. The DGS has given a green light for the solution to be presented to the girls on Friday. The girls will have to be quiet and listen carefully on Friday or the offer might be missed for all of their excitability. Someone might walk by them and say "goats." It will be said once and once only. If they are too busy talking with their friends or in the classroom, it may well be missed. It may require staying after school for a few minutes for a brief meeting.
The girls will have to show some acceptance of reality if the goats are to be saved.
In the meantime, any escalation of the crisis by the girls will result in a more immediate execution of the goats.
