Congratulations to all on a great week of Roosevelt Forensics...A mock trial team qualifies to state, Speech takes 3rd place and debate 4th place!
If there ever was an example of cobbling together enough points for two top five finishes...here it is:
In Speech 7 entries make semi finals but did not make finals--but those 7 points were huge...they saved 3rd place from Muscatine.
In Debate every octo finalist picked up 2 points which again saved us.
I was thrilled with our overall team maturity...this was a good job with a lot of young students helping out by earning key team sweep points.
Great job by everyone!
