There are about 95,000 tracked student members of the National Forensic League. Top 25 earn All American Honors and the next 60 earn Honorable Mention All American Honors. If Chris gets to the national tournament and has a solid tournament, he will be in great shape. He does not have enough points to earn All American Honors since he did not compete as a freshman.
We also now believe that one of our juniors has earned Academic All American Honors this year. (We are waiting for a couple of others to take their college entrance tests to see if they also are qualified). Upon my return from surgery, we will be processing paperwork to see if we can keep that string alive as well. We have had an Academic All American in debate at Roosevelt each of the past 3 seasons.
