Departure time is now confirmed at 5:55am from Des Moines on the regional jet to Minneapolis. There is no further schedule change.
Checking ahead, there are seats available for an earlier departure from Washington DC on Monday, however, airline policy (Midwest) is to charge both a $100 change fee and the difference in fares. We will be in touch with them as soon as we can to see if they will take students back earlier without penalty on standby. They have no obligation to do so. Remember, this flight is NOT direct but through Milwaukee. There is always the chance of getting hung up. If you want your student to depart early as a standby, please let me know--we will do reasonably what we can to accommodate an earlier return. But there are no guarantees. Our normal return time from Harvard and Mason in the past has been well after 10pm. Unfortunatly in the world of booking cheapest fares, we are usually relegated to the world of early departures and late arrivals...the flights higher paying customers don't want!
