There are two State tournaments in Iowa. January 9-10th in Ankeny is the first one. Coach Nate will be putting that entry together this week as well.
If you are a novice in the program please understand that there are 4 tournaments which severely limit our entries and this is one of them. The others are The All Iowa Finals, National Qualifier and Congress Qualifier. No program can accomodate everyone in these events. We can't either.
Coaches will be trying to position the team in a fashion that gives us some chance of placing or winning team sweeps. That means some of you will be doing Congress even though you may regularly compete in another event.
Doing well in Congress has huge implications on the tournament. So if you are placed in Congress--understand what we are trying to accomplish and go for it with everything you have. Thanks, Coach Harry
