Roosevelt has pulled ahead of Iowa City West for 3rd in the State power rankings 157-154. While this may not hold up all season, it is the highest RHS Debate ranking in a very, very long time. Everyone should be excited! Congratulations!
Individually: Chris Oman has temporarily shot up to 62nd in the nation. His national position will bounce around quite a bit this season. He earned his final NFL degree this past weekend becoming the 4th RHS student to clear 1500 pts in 3 years...congratulations to Chris!
Chris is #2 individually in Iowa, Amelia #4, Mirza #13, Adele is #15 and Taylor Karns #18.
Both Harrison Hayward and now Tess Yocom might move on the West Iowa Top 25 list in the near future.
Congratulations to Bailey Reese and Paige Freeman for new NFL memberships and their first degrees. In all 6 new degrees earned this past weekend in Ft. Dodge.
Another milestone shouldn't be overlooked as Tess Yocom cleared 500 points early in her sophomore year!
