Two Roosevelt PFD teams earned quarter finals at the Mid American Cup at Valley High this weekend and both lost in quarters....Catherine and Mirza lost to Iowa City West 0-3 and Chris and Taylor lost to Dowling 0-3 as well. By the time quarter finals were held--exhaustion of two days of intense debate as well as homecoming had caught up to everyone. Roosevelt has a 20-12 overall record in PFD and 0-6 (as expected) in policy. The 0-6 record is a bit misleading...this was against some of the best in the nation. Good job overall and a good start to the year.
