Three Roosevelt students and Coach Harry have returned from the Gustavus-Adolphus College Summer Speech Institute which ran all last week from 7am-midnight each day. Tess, Harrison and Minh are exhausted. It was challenging and intense and fun. Sleep was not a priority!
Harrison has his HI for the season. Tess has a delightful OI for the year. Minh spent a week in the Harry Strong extemp school from hell and is a much better extemp student. I got to hear Tess's OI twice during the week and loved it. I did not get to hear Harrison's HI but heard from other coaches about it. The camp closed with a huge banquet on Saturday night which was a very nice affair.
If you didn't attend a camp this summer, please consider it for next summer. Coach Harry
