There is an informational parent's debate camp meeting next Tuesday (4/8) at 7:30 in the library. Our purpose is to answer questions, encourage participation and discuss why we approve of some camps and disapprove of others. Any student is welcome to attend. Camps are not for everyone and there is no expectation of camp participation to be active in our program. We have a number of students headed to camps this summer.
Iowa Coaches or graduating seniors teaching this year that we know of include: Billy Strong will be teaching at the George Mason camp in extemp toward the end of the camp (after baseball season). Coach Harry is teaching at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN in a one week camp in early August. Tim Sheaff will be teaching at the Florida Foresnics Institute and Pete Clancy/Warren Sprouse from Cedar Rapids Washington will be teaching at Marquette University's camp this summer.
To learn more about camps, the role they play and why what's right for one student isn't right for another student, come to the meeting!
