A big congratulations to our Mock Trial team for their performance at State this week. They went 2-1 losing to Dowling in the 2nd round by .75 of a point. It was a great matchup and sent a very strong signal to Dowling, one not missed by Tim Sheaf.
One of our goals this year was to upgrade our Mock Trial efforts and get Roosevelt at least competative. I figured it would take a couple of years to get a new coach, get the right kids committed and get the experience needed to compete. I guess I underestimated things a bit.
You were a classy, impressive group of students who gave 110% to your coach.
There were 32 teams who qualified to the State tournament and Roosevelt narrowly missed a chance for semi finals. Congratulations!
