There was a big surge in entries on Joy of tournaments this evening for our tournament which means we have a lot of work to do in prepration. Now that I know we have a nice sized event, I will spend much of this weekend in preparation. Here are the schools we are hosting:
Ankeny, Bettendorf, Burlington, East, Roosevelt, Dowling, Grinnell, Indianola, Valley, Iowa City West and Winterset. Expected entries include Lincoln, Hoover and Cedar Rapids Washington.
Ames and Ottumwa are still possible. We have written regrets from Spencer and Ft. Dodge where the coaching staffs also do IHSSA. Sioux City has checked the web site a couple of times so maybe we will draw some of that crowd as well.
We now need over 30 student housing spots as well for Ia City West, Bettendorf and Burlington.
