Congratulations to Billy who survived three days of extemp hell to finish 5th overall in the MBA Southern Belle Forum Extemp round Robin in Nashville vs. the top 15 others in the country. 5th earned him his second exhibition round appearance this season which essentially are equal to NFL Final Round experiences. His 5th place finish was only 5 rank points over 30 judges from first and he lost the tie breaker or he would have been 4th. His exhibition round performance was very solid but he lost to Aaron Mattis of Scarsdale NY.
After finals are completed, there will be an extemp meeting with things Billy and I picked up on the national round robin circuit. We have some work to get done in making our speeches softer, less biased and more welcoming to be recieved by the judge.
