Debate results by State

A new NFL program was tested recently to determine which state is the most sucessfull on the National Circuit. The results are interesting. If judged by finalists and semi finalists over the past few years--Iowa ranks at about 10th. If judged by octo finalists and up, Iowa is in the middle of the pack. The most sucessfull states consistantly are: Minnesota, California, Texas Ohio, Missouri, Kansas and Florida. However, like all data--there is a bias to the data....this data set is NOT pro ratioed upon number of participating students within a state...therefore, the larger population states did well in this type of study. In other words, comparing Iowa to California using this program wasn't fair.
