Debate Partnerships

The types of debates in which partnerships exist are unique things. However, there is something that needs to be recognized. Once a partnership is made, it is not in stone forever. It is not a marriage in that event for however many years you have in high school. These partnerships may last one tournament or more. Coaches are very aware that people naturally seek stability/predictability in interpersonal relationships. That being said, the sheer number of students on this team now makes it necessary for us as coaches to shift partnerships from time to time to try to maximize effectiveness for our debaters as well as accommodate desires to debate with friends should the opportunity arise.
