Congratulations to all who helped out--the matching gift fundraising goal has been met and as a result the $1500 matching grant gift has been recieved by Roosevelt today. There are two gifts promised and not yet received but I know they will come in soon. I know this wasn't easy on anyone but it did raise $3000 of desperatly needed funds.
Both our student and parent's fundraisers will be happening shortly. Students will be voting this week on if we are selling Schwan's Food items and earning 30% commission on those sales or selling AA and AAA batteries. More in our meeting.
Our parents fundraiser is through Barnes and Noble on University and a great thanks for Liz McCabe's Mother for setting it up for us again this year. More on that in a couple of weeks.
