The NFL announced earlier this week that 4 Central Iowa debate students from last season have been named Honorable Mention All-Americans. Included on the list are Sam Fairfield, now a freshman at Grinnell College and current Roosevelt senior Billy Strong.
Also named were Billy Hamilton of Valley and Michael Nall of Dowling Catholic.
To be an Honorable Mention All-American, one must have been in the top 150 of the 95,000+
student members of the National Forensic League in total earned NFL points. The top 25 point earners in any given season are All-Americans.
