Students: Like Sam Fairfield, freshman Harrison Hayward has a peanut allergy. Sam never had an incident at Roosevelt (excluding the trick we played on the poor Valley girl at State a few years ago). Harrison's peanut allergy is worse than Sam's.
If you have consumed peanuts, and are around Harrison, you cannot touch him. He is that sensative to peanuts. I would strongly recommend that you do not bring on debate trips peanut butter sandwiches, peanuts, crackers with peanut butter, etc. If you do consume peanuts in any fashion (including ice cream dishes) you must wash your hands before being around Harrison.
Please be carefull about this. He does carry a shot with him if he does come into contact with peanuts. Still, we all need to be helpfull and help him avoid a serius allergy attack.
Thanks for your cooperation! Coach Harry
