On January 19-20 and on January 30th, Roosevelt hosts our tournaments. After the first of the year, parents will be hearing from Coach Nate who has the pleasure of much of the organizational work on our tournaments.
On the 19th and 20th...no student can participate if their parents don't work both days!!!!!
We want students in competition, so we need parents to step up. We will need food preparation
(donated), judging, ballot running, concessions and more.
We essentially have the same issues on the 30th but on a smaller scale.
Done right, we should be able to raise $1500-2000 from our tournament. Its a lot of work and
a lot of pressure but well worth the effort.
